Disciples Christian fellowship Church is an independent church working with churches in communities (C.I.C.) fellowship and permited to work as a church with BORN AGAIN FAITH FEDERATION located in Uganda Buganda the Central Region 66 Kilometers from the Capital city Kampala in Mityana Town council on Mubende Highway Road. Kiyinda Musalaba zone Local Council 1 Area

In 2001 God spoke to Pr. Hassan Mubiru to invest his life in discipling people individually he started with a small house group he opened many home sells like this many ministers and church leaders has benefited through his teaching as result s many now their senior pastors in churches.

Pastor Hassan Mubiru has some 10 years of experience in ministry in more than five mission churches.

He has a diploma in theology and A.D. in Ministry , He has been involved in missions like crusades, Seminars and retreats around Uganda and many churches was planted through his ministry.

In 2006 God spoke clearly to his heart to plant a church in Mityana town Council and DISCIPLES CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH was planted for sure the church is growing each day.

He is the senior pastor of this same church now and the church is involved in doing other ministries like:

a)      MONTHLY PASTORAL TRAINING

b)      QUARTER (EACH THREE MONTHES) CRUSADES AND SEMINARS

c)      CHILD CARE PROJECT

d)      EARDERLY / NEEDY SUPPORT

e)      RADIO MINISTRY ON SUN 96.9 FM

MONTHLY PASTORAL TRAINING

There was a great wave of revival which came to our nation Uganda in early Eighties (1980s), which left many churches planted.

There was a need for church leaders and many believers were recruited to be senior pastors of opened churches without any training.

This has resulted in many mistakes made by pastors not because they tend to but because they lack training and when we came up with an Idea of training senior pastors all pastors accept this mistake which was made.  

Many seen this need before but they feared to face the challenge because for sure many Bible colleges has been planted all long but with the high fees they charge and the level of education they would like to begin with many failed to join this bible colleges.

We took time to investigate why many senior pastors with such desire fail to attend to this biblical training.

We found out that 95 percent of the pastors in the remote areas of Uganda they fail even to pay school fees for their children and even feeding is a great problem of this day they earn little which can't support them with their families.

We believe it is because we are living in third world countries because some of them you cannot blame their hardworking people. But whoever much they work at the end of the day they get little.

For those who have lands to dig because their very far away from the market for their good to be bought and those who can correct them from Villages they pay lot of money for transport NB because of bad conditions of roads in our country so the farmers end up loosing every session.

These are places were little or no opportunities for such training in basic biblical training.

Now each month with more than 50 senior pastors attending to this training from different parts of Mityana and its surrounding parts.

And many more would like to Attend but we decided for this time to have this number because of our limited source of funds and as God will provide more funds we encourage you that we will add on many pastors as possible.

The unfilled gap is Bigger than the one already filled the need is very great.

QUARTER (EACH THREE MONTHES) CRUSADES AND SEMINARS

It discourages me always whenever I look on the statistics of our nation concerning population growth and church involvement.

I can best describe to you the Town council of Mityana with 50000 plus only in the town council and the body of Christ the church not even 2000 people were converted to Christ.

It is our burden and our cry to reach our nation for Christ with the gospel of truth.

So we decided to open crusades and house to house evangelism were we reach many for Christ.

But as from our experience we found out that the gospel is free but the task of taking it to nations has become very expensive in this present generation.

Every three months we get three days to one week of evangelism for sure the field is ready to be harvested but the laborers are few.

What we fill inside us burning we have not yet reached its heights because of the limitations we find mainly on instruments, transportation and all preparations funds to best reach our nation.

Because some time we fail to go with our plans for crusades because of limited funds.

But we believe God will make away were seem to be not.

We have many requests from many parts of Uganda and East Africa for Crusade Evangelism, and we encourage you those have already send their applications be in prayer for an open door as this year ends or in the beginning of next year you will hear from us, you are still on our heart.

CHILD CARE PROJECT

PASTOR HASSAN was once asked a question about orphans help in Africa are they really need support? This was his answer "if you move from theory to the real issue on the ground almost 90% of all African children need help it is not only about orphans only but all children"

It is amazing to figure out how many families now need help for schooling when the father and mother of that same family still alive, we have come to agree with pastor Hassan that there are some of orphans who are well in all their living conditions than the children in their fathers and Mothers houses.

Because you find that when some one is noticed an orphan every one would like to support him without any question.

But we now know many families which has no even a single orphan but still in need for school fees,

We found a case in one family because of ten books which costs 2 dollars the student in his fathers home loosed the whole schooling term can you imagine the father taking seven months planning to buy shoes for his son or daughter and some times failed to get the funds to get it.

Another case study we made on one of our member in the church, He is a father of five children three girls and two boys It has been confirmed after medical check up that they are infected with HIV/AIDS He the father and His wife the mother with their last two kids only the three are not infected. They were hopeless don't know what to do their income cannot support them .

So we came in for help their in the church and we try at the best of our ability to support them their in the Pictures page.

So think of daily feeding medical care and so on.

So for us we look to help those whom we have discovered to be needy.

And now we help 9 children in School.

And many families we help with the little funds we get.

In the future we want to start a boarding school for both primary and secondary school we want to be a church which responds to the needs of our community and doing this has given us a great open door opportunity for Evangelism in the community.

The need is very great thus we call for any one who can believe with us for the transformation of Africa we can use every tool that can speak to hearts of men about salvation through Jesus Christ.

ELDERLY / NEEDY SUPPORT

In fact many organization has come up with many organized strategy to help many kinds of people e.g. youth, Girl Child, Women, Disadvantaged groups like lame people with disabilities.

But we have not yet got any organization come up for elderly help; it has become a reproach to get old here not as it was years back ago with our proverb which says (Bukadde Magezi) means elderly is wisdom.

These people has taken years paying taxes into government but nothing has been paid them for their hard work no plan to help these old people in our society today.

Thus why we have come up to stand with them with the little help we can offer and as the time goes on as God continue to open door for us we will:

Build houses were we can take care of them from.

We shall also buy enough land were we can plant a garden for food stuffs to help them have daily feedings.

We have already put ten of these old people on our project giving them life necessities But the challenge is still very big.
